Stainless Steel Flakes
Novamet's Stainless Steel flakes are manufactured from Type 316L grade material. It is typically used in demanding applications such as chemical plants where it provides excellent corrosion resistance. A major use of Stainless Steel flakes is in architectural powder coatings where they have demonstrated stability well in excess of twenty years. Stainless Steel flakes in urethane and epoxy liquid coatings are used extensively to coat steel in food processing plants and equipment. Five varieties of Stainless Steel flake are offered.
