Black Nickel Oxide
Black nickel oxide (BNO) is produced from a unique process that starts with high quality carbonyl nickel powder and results in an exceptionally pure product. The product is available in an A grade and a finer particle size, F grade. The primary use of BNO, due to its purity, is for high quality nickel zinc ferrite manufacturing. Other uses include production of nickel molybdate for hydrodesulfurization catalysts, inorganic color pigments, and glass frits for porcelain enamel. It can also be used to develop colors in clear glass. Black nickel oxides with controlled surface areas can be produced to custom specifications.
