Extra Fine Nickel Powder Type 110

Inco® Type 110 nickel powder is an extremely fine non-filamentary powder. It is part of the family of extra fine nickel powders and is the finest non-filamentary powder we offer.

T110 nickel powder has proven to be ideal for use in thin conductive coatings, such as those found in multilayer capacitors, where uniformity of size is critical to performance.

The uniform particle size of T110 also makes it suitable for thin films and inks and other conductive coating applications.

Type 110 PM

Inco® Type 110 PM nickel powder is an extra fine nickel powder with a particle size range that is optimized for the powder metal industry. The particle size is significantly finer than T123 PM nickel powder and can provide improved properties in specific applications. T110 PM nickel powder has been shown to offer improved hardenability in nickel steels and improved dimensional control in nickel copper steels. To obtain the maximum properties using T110 powder it is necessary to fully disperse the nickel in the iron matrix using high shear mixing equipment.

The powder is also used as a binder in diamond binding applications where lower sintering temperatures can allow the use of lower grade industrial diamonds.

Type 110 D

Inco® Type 110 D nickel powder is a special form of T110 nickel powder that is treated to improve the dispersion of the extra fine nickel in iron-based powders. T110 D powder allows for the use of standard mixing equipment such as double cone or V cone mixers to fully disperse the nickel.

T110 D offers the same advantages as T110 PM in iron nickel and iron copper applications.
